Training is essential to a successful Scouting program. Please encourage leaders in your pack/troop who have not been trained, to go through one of the Leader Training courses.

Your first step is to attend Cub Scout Leader Training! To be properly trained, a leader must go thru Fast Start and Youth Protection training, which can be done online http://olc.scouting.org ! Then a leader needs to attend what’s called “New Leader Essentials” and “Cub Scout Leader Position Specific” training. Dates for those trainings can be found below!

Text Box: What will you Learn?

* How to plan your
  weekly den meetings
* How the boys in your
  den earn badges

  and badges for your
